Our Programs

We Foster Children and Youth Development

Our programs are aimed at fostering children and youth development with the focal points: integration, promotion of art and culture, promotion of international attitude and popular understanding, tolerance in all areas of cultural differences, talent promotion, handicrafts, and cooperation in all forms.

Through these programs, participants get to know each other in a playful way and thus breaking down prejudices in a targeted manner. As participants work together in a positive environment, hearts, minds, and souls are opened to build trust, understanding, acceptance, and tolerance.

Anti-Discrimination Training

Harassment and discrimination can take many forms, from prejudice to bullying. It creates an uncomfortable work environment and impedes a person’s ability to perform at their best, preventing them from making progress in their careers. Discrimination, harassment, and sensitivity training are one of the core practices for addressing and preventing workplace harassment and discrimination and creating a culture of respect, civility, and inclusion.

Effective training goes beyond covering anti-discrimination and anti-harassment laws. In order to foster a diverse, inclusive, and harassment-free workplace culture, training plays an important role in raising awareness and encouraging positive workplace behaviors.

By providing anti-harassment and discrimination training, one can ensure that everyone feels safe and happy at work, regardless of their race, gender, beliefs, or any other characteristic. This unlocks long-lasting potential and lays the groundwork for success.

Benefit Concert

The benefit concert is organized to raise awareness and support for vulnerable children, orphans, children with special needs, and children in humanitarian crisis. It is a platform for teaching children and young people the importance of helping others through generous donations of time and talent.

Music, storytelling, dance, art, and craft are all performed with increased audience participation in this program. Children and youth present a variety of music programs to their parents, grandparents, caregivers, tutors, and the general public.

Funds are raised through an admission fee, other item sales, raffles and a general fundraiser. All proceeds from the concert goes to vulnerable children, orphans, children with special needs and children in crisis.

Children's Story tales

Reading fairy tales to children can improve the cognitive and psychological skills of children. Many pieces of literature have hidden meanings that can be explained through the psychoanalysis of their characters and their plot. This is especially true for many children’s books. In children’s stories, like fairy tales, there are major plot points that hold deeper meanings that work to teach children important lessons.

One of the many purposes of fairy tales is to teach children to explore unconscious ideas. The development of the child’s psyche is positively influenced by what they see and what they read. Furthermore, the development of the psyche is how children learn about hidden ideas; it’s a stepping stone for everything else that fairy tales try to teach them. Without the child’s ability to deduce symbols and hidden meanings in stories and the world, children would not be able to learn unspoken lessons.

The development of the child’s psyche is very easily persuaded by the psychoanalysis of the fairy tales that children read; it allows them to develop their understanding of how the world works. The development of the psyche can also change children’s preexisting view of the world around them.

Fairy tales serve to teach children how to behave. As children read the most popular fairy tale stories, they begin to imitate some of the ideas portrayed in the plot and the characters. These stories help develop the imagination, which allows children to see themselves living in the story, going on all sorts of crazy adventures. They begin to understand that they need to have an imagination because it will help them throughout their life

Kids learn how to deal with problems from fairy tales. They gain emotional resilience, learn a common language, develops their imagination, learn lessons, enriches their vocabulary, improves their analytical ability, and increases empathy and absorption of positive values. They see how actions beget consequences and see how ordinary characters overcome great obstacles.

Cooking Program

The cooking program is a hands-on language learning program in which participants of all ages learn new recipes from chefs with hands-on teaching experience. Cooking activities help children and youth develop confidence and skill. Using recipes, participants learn to follow directions and solve problems independently, encouraging them to be self-directed and independent.

The benefits of the cooking program to children cannot be overemphasized. It aid physical development. Fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination are developed by cooking as fine motor skills are developed through chopping, mixing, squeezing, and spreading.

It also aids language development. Cooking allows students to develop their language skills by connecting it to other subjects such as mathematics, science, social studies, arts, and literacy. This is accomplished by encouraging children to talk about their activities, count, and observe how materials change color, texture, and medium.

Other benefits include teaching children how to measure, how to count and develop the understanding of numbers, how best to follow directions in order to succeed, early literacy skills in recognizing common words such as food items and words on labels, learning sequencing to understand that events should happen in a particular order.

Children learn science concepts. For instance, while cooking, children watch all kinds of food materials change form as they are heated, chopped, frozen, and defrosted. They see how two materials can mix (flour and water), how some substances dissolve (the salt disappears in the water) and how water evaporates during boiling etc.

They also learn more about health and hygiene. Our instructor teach children that foods have different kinds of nutrients in them and that some types of foods keep the body thriving and healthy, whereas others should be kept to a minimum. Children also learn about hygiene as they need to wash some of the foods they use, and clean up themselves when the cooking is complete.

Additionally, the program fosters fine motor skills, concentration, creativity, and teamwork as well as bonding time and emotional development.

Cultural Festival

ATP organizes cultural festivals that emphasize human rights, diversity, and inclusion, as well as how culture contributes to social change, with the goal of facilitating a transformational encounter between youth and vulnerable communities, changing minds, opening new perspectives, and promoting diversity, inclusion, respect for otherness, and freedom of expression.

Culture festivals bring people together to learn and celebrate different cultures, fostering community pride, strengthening relationships, and providing a platform for learning new things. By celebrating things that make a community special and evoking positive feelings, cultural festivals foster community pride.

Extra Lessons

Extra lessons is teaching and learning beyond the conventional classroom arrangement and involves a more deliberate and in-depth focus on the subject matter already discussed in the conventional classroom. It is an effort to help children and teenagers get improved understanding of content.

Extra lessons assist children in mastering previously introduced content by their tutors by providing clarity on topics. They allow children to improve their understanding of concepts they learned (or missed) in class.

It is important to recognize that every child learns in a different manner. Extra lessons provide customized learning tailored to meet the educational needs of children. Our goal is to help children master topics bit by bit, providing your child with that personalized touch to their education.

Music Workshop

We organize fun, engaging, and educational music workshops for children and young people. This immerses each child into the world of music by teaching them to sing, compose, and play various musical instruments while having fun. Children learn about the sounds of various instruments as well as the melodies of famous compositions.

Musical workshop fosters language development and reasoning. Students who have early musical training will develop the areas of the brain related to language and reasoning. The left side of the brain is better developed with music, and songs can help imprint information on young minds.

It also helps in the mastery of memorization. Linking familiar songs to new information can also help imprint information on young minds.  Even when performing with sheet music, student musicians are constantly using their memory to perform. The skill of memorization can serve students well in education and beyond.

Learning how to play musical instruments can also teach discipline. Kids who learn to play an instrument can learn a valuable lesson in discipline. They will have to set time aside to practice and rise to the challenge of learning with discipline to master playing their instrument.

ATP musical workshops emphasize teamwork and confidence building as students collaborate to present what they have learned to the audience at the end of the workshop.

Neighborhood Get-together

The goal is to help each other see the very best things in each of us, offer a space for connection and see how meaningful it is to know one another. We all have an internal desire for connection. It’s what we long for, not even realizing it sometimes. Somehow the act of sitting elbow to elbow around a table, sharing a meal, is something that can bind us.

Whether you live on a quiet cul-de-sac or a busy street, it’s important to get to know your neighbors to build a sense of community. Hanging out with neighborhood friends is also a wonderfully convenient pastime – no car, travel, or reservations required!

Talent Hunt

ATP Talent Hunt Programs offer children and youth a platform to spotlight their talents in the areas of music, arts, sports and education. Through this program, we assist children and youth, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, in nurturing, developing, and promoting their talents, as well as providing them with exposure, encouragement, and financial assistance.

The aim is to help participants develop their skills and abilities, build their confidence, resilience and concentration, cultivate self-motivation, and help them reach their full potential in their field of interest.

Vocational Training

Our vocational training program is an essential component of inclusion, social equity, and sustainable development. Through this program, we seek to transform illiterate, unskilled and inexperienced communities into human resource as a means of eradicating poverty. This offers both literate and non-literate groups in local communities the opportunity to become professionals.

Women Conference

Women Conference offers networking opportunities, professional development, and personal growth for every woman. The program is designed to provide women with motivation, networking, inspiration, and skill-building opportunities, offering sessions ranging from personal finance to health and wellness to career advancement.

We are dedicated to inspiring women of all ages to reach their full potential, to eliminating gender discrimination, and to promoting equality.
